What is Bylaw 26-021 about?
Bylaw 26-021 which proposes to redesignate 17.3 acres of NW 35-9-22-W4M (221061 Township Road 100), from Rural Agriculture (RA) to Rural General Industrial (RGI). See a map.
The intent of the rezoning is to allow for the development of agricultural-related businesses on the proposed three (3) lots.
A copy of the bylaw and application can be viewed at the Lethbridge County Office (#100, 905-4 Avenue South, Lethbridge) during regular business hours.
How do I provide input?
- In-person: Input can be given on the proposed Bylaw at the Public Hearing on October 15, 2026, you will be asked to sign in before speaking in front of Council.
- Virtually: If you cannot attend the Public Hearing in-person, you can register to provide your input virtually. You must register by emailing planning@lethcounty.ca no later than 4:30 p.m. on October 13, 2026.
- Written comments: You may also provide a written submission to Council which will form part of the public record and be included in the Council meeting agenda. Written submissions must be sent to planning@lethcounty.ca no later than 4:30 p.m. on October 8, 2026.
