What is Bylaw 25-025 About?
Bylaw 25-025 will consider the rezoning of Plan 9312230, Block 1, Lot 1 in the NE-36-9-23-W4 from Grouped Country Residential to Direct Control. See a map.
The intent of the rezoning is to allow for the continued operation of RiverBrink Estate Florals, an existing floral arrangement and u-pick business. A copy of the bylaw and application can be viewed at the Lethbridge County Office (#100, 905-4 Avenue South, Lethbridge) during regular business hours.
How do I provide input?
- In-person: Input can be given on the proposed Bylaw at the Public Hearing on January 15, 2025. You will be asked to sign in before speaking in front of Council.
- Virtually: If you cannot attend the Public Hearing in-person, you can register to provide your input virtually. You must register by emailing crobision@lethcounty.ca no later than 4:30 p.m. on January 13, 2025.
- Written comments: You may also provide a written submission to Council which will form part of the public record and be included in the Council meeting agenda. Written submissions must be sent to planning@lethcounty.ca no later than 4:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.

What is Bylaw 25-027 About?
Bylaw 25-027 will consider the rezoning of a portion of SE 1-9-21-W4M from Direct Control to Direct Control. See a map.
The intent of the rezoning is to allow for an administrative update to the previously approved Direct Control Bylaw 23-022. The intent and uses under Bylaw 23-022 will remain the same, while building heights, delegations of authority, and standards for Accessory Buildings are amended. A copy of the bylaw and application can be viewed at the Lethbridge County Office (#100, 905-4 Avenue South, Lethbridge) during regular business hours.

What is Bylaw 25-029 About?
Bylaw 25-029 is an administrative update to Part 1, Section 37 of the Land Use Bylaw. The amendments will allow the County to post development permit decisions on its website as the primary method of notification. This change will allow development permit decisions to be posted and made available to the public in real-time, improving transparency and supporting a more efficient permitting process.
The County will continue to advertise Planning and Development decisions in the newspaper by providing a link/QR code to the County website.
How do I provide input?
- In-person: Input can be given on the proposed Bylaw at the Public Hearing on February 5, 2026. You will be asked to sign in before speaking in front of Council.
- Virtually: If you cannot attend the Public Hearing in-person, you can register to provide your input virtually. You must register by emailing crobision@lethcounty.ca no later than 4:30 p.m. on February 3, 2026.
- Written comments: You may also provide a written submission to Council which will form part of the public record and be included in the Council meeting agenda. Written submissions must be sent to planning@lethcounty.ca no later than 4:30 p.m. on January 29, 2026.
