Bylaw 20-010: Ramias Area Structure Plan - NE 21-9-22-W4 Bylaw 21-011: Redesignation of Plan 0912279 Block 1 Lots 2 and 3 in NE-21-9-22-W4 from Rural Urban Fringe to Group Country Residential

WHAT IS THE BYLAW ABOUT?

Bylaws 21-010 and 21-011 will consider the creation of an Area Structure Plan and rezoning of those properties to Grouped Country Residential.  The purpose of the proposed
Bylaw 21-010 is to consider the Ramias Area Structure Plan located in the NE 21-9-22-W4. The Area Structure Plan outlines the future subdivision and planning considerations for the subject parcels. The purpose of the proposed Bylaw 21-011 is to consider the redesignation of Plan 0912279 Block 1 Lots 2 and 3, in the NE 21-9-22-W4, from Rural Urban Fringe (R.U.F) to Group Country Residential (G.C.R.) as shown on the map to the left. The municipal address from the proposed redesignation is 223015 Township Road 9-4. The proposed Bylaws will allow for the subdivision of the Plan 0912279 Block 1 Lot 2 into 3 parcels for country residential use.

HOW DO I GIVE INPUT ON THE PROPOSED BYLAW?

Input can be given on the proposed Bylaw at the Public Hearing on August 5. Anyone wishing to provide written comments is encouraged to contact the County no later than 4:30 pm on July 28, 2021.

Bylaw 21-013: Text Amendments to the Land Use Bylaw

WHAT IS THE BYLAW ABOUT?

Bylaw 21-013 will consider a number of text amendments to the Land Use Bylaw including:
• The Administration section is updated and amended to clarify provision and administrative regulations, including application processing;
• The land use districts and various uses are being amended, including shipping containers, riding arenas, and various cannabis related uses;
• To clarify and detail the development standards and specific land use standards for certain uses including fencing in residential areas and cannabis production facilities; and
• To amend the Land Use Bylaw definitions to reflect the updates
