What are Bylaws 23-021 & 23-022 about?

Bylaw 23-021 is the Country Side Area Structure Plan which intends to provide a framework for the future subdivision and development of the subject parcels for country residential and mixed-use (residential and light commercial) development.

The Intent of the rezoning (Bylaw 23-022) will consider the rezoning of the 40 acre parcel from Urban Fringe to Grouped Country Residential and Direct Control. The intend of the rezoning would be to allow for subdivision and development of the parcel as per the Country Side Area Structure Plan.

A copy of the proposed Area Structure Plan and rezoning application can be found on the County’s website or can be viewed at the Lethbridge County office.

How do I provide input?

Input can be given on the proposed bylaw at the Public Hearing on July 18, 2024. Anyone wishing to provide written comments is encouraged to contact the County no later than 4:30 p.m. July 10, 2024.

What is Bylaw 24-010 about?

Bylaw 24-010 will consider the rezoning of a 3.31 acres portion of SE 3-9-20-W4 from Urban Fringe to Direct Control. The Municipal Address of the property is 202030 HWY 512.

The intent of the rezoning is to allow for the expansion of an existing consulting firm on the property. A copy of the bylaw and application can be viewed at the Lethbridge County Office (#100, 905-4 Avenue South, Lethbridge) during regular business hours.
