What is Bylaw 26-003 about?
Bylaw 26-003 proposes to redesignate the northeast 6.55 acres of NW-4-9-20-W4M (90081 Range Road 204) from the Urban Fringe District to a Direct Control (DC) District.
The intent of the rezoning is to accommodate an event centre, as well as a short-term rental (Tourist Home) and an agricultural services business. See a map.
A copy of the bylaw and application can be viewed at the Lethbridge County Office (#100, 905-4 Avenue South, Lethbridge) during regular business hours.
How do I provide input?
- In-person: Input can be given on the proposed Bylaw at the Public Hearing on Thursday, June 18, 2026. You will be asked to sign in before speaking in front of Council.
- Virtually: If you cannot attend the Public Hearing in-person, you can register to provide your input virtually. You must register by emailing crobison@lethcounty.ca no later than 4:30 p.m. on June 16, 2026.
- Written comments: You may also provide a written submission to Council which will form part of the public record and be included in the Council meeting agenda. Written submissions must be sent to communications@lethcounty.ca no later than 4:30 p.m. on June 11, 2026.

What is Bylaw 26-009 about?
Bylaw 26-003 proposes to redesignate Plan 309 DT Block 1 Lots 9-11 (120 Main Street, Turin), from Hamlet Direct Control (HDC) to Hamlet Residential (HR).
The intent of the rezoning is to allow for the development of a multi unit residential dwelling on an existing vacant lot. See a map.
