There will be a Public Development Hearing on August 13, 2025 for a proposed Xplore 45-meter Lattice Tripole, Radio Communications Tower Installation.

What is the proposal about?
The proposed installation is composed of a 45-meter Lattice Tripole style Radio Communications tower.
Location: Lot 7, Block 1, Plan 2110940, Lethbridge County, Alberta
Objective: To improve wireless coverage to your community, and to meet rising demands for wireless services.
Details: An equipment cabinet will sit at the tower’s base; the tower and cabinet will be contained within a fenced compound topped with barbed wire and secured by a locked swing gate.

Public Hearing Sept 4: Bylaw 25-018
There will be a Public Development Hearing on September 4, 2025 for the proposed Bylaw 25-018.
The Public Hearing starts at 10 a.m.

What is Bylaw 25-018 about?
Bylaw 25-018 will consider the rezoning of a portion of Plan 1113171 Block 1 Lot 5 in the NW 10-9-21-W4 from Urban Fringe to Rural General Industrial. The parcel is located directly east of the City of Lethbridge and is part of the Chinook Industrial Area Structure Plan (Bylaw 23-008). See a map.
The intent of the rezoning is to allow the future subdivision and development of the area for industrial purposes. A copy of the bylaw and application can be viewed at the Lethbridge County Office (#100, 905-4 Avenue South, Lethbridge) during regular business hours.

There will be a Public Development Hearing on September 4, 2025 for the proposed Bylaw 25-021.

What is Bylaw 25-021 about?
Bylaw 25-021 will consider the closure of an undeveloped portion of Range Road 21-4 south of the Lethbridge Airport and adjacent to Cardston County. The intent of the road closure is to close that portion of road and consolidate it to the adjacent properties. See a map.
