What is Bylaw 26-007 about?
Bylaw 26-007 will consider the rezoning of Plan 8710514 Block 1 Lot 4 in the SW 31-9-22-W4M from Rural Agriculture to Grouped Country Residential.
The intent of the rezoning is to allow for the subdivision of three (3) lots for future grouped country residential development. The proposed lots range in size from 3.04 acres to 4.37 acres. See a map.
A copy of the bylaw and application can be viewed at the Lethbridge County Office (#100, 905-4 Avenue South, Lethbridge) during regular business hours.
How do I provide input?
- In-person: Input can be given on the proposed Bylaw at the Public Hearing on Thursday, May 7, 2026. You will be asked to sign in before speaking in front of Council.
- Virtually: If you cannot attend the Public Hearing in-person, you can register to provide your input virtually. You must register by emailing crobison@lethcounty.ca no later than 4:30 p.m. on May 5, 2026.
- Written comments: You may also provide a written submission to Council which will form part of the public record and be included in the Council meeting agenda. Written submissions must be sent to communications@lethcounty.ca no later than 4:30 p.m. on April 30, 2026.

What is Bylaw 26-001 about?
Bylaw 26-001 will consider the rezoning of Plan 0110514, Block 1, Lot 1, (NW 31-10-21-W4M) from Rural Agriculture to Direct Control District. See a map.
The proposed Social Care Facility contained within the existing home and yard includes day programing with agricultural-related experiences and Supportive Housing to support the development of children and young adults with special needs. The Lot is to remain rural agricultural and residential in character.
