Fire Advisory
Lethbridge County has issued a Fire Advisory on Monday, April 22, 2024. The risk for wildfire is increased due to the warm, windy conditions we have been experiencing.
This is not a Fire Ban or Restriction. Active, approved fire permits are not cancelled but the County asks the public to use extra caution when burning. Permit holders are reminded that burning cannot take place when wind speeds are over 25 kilometres per hour. Do not hesitate to call 911 should your burn become uncontrollable.
If conditions persist, the County may impose a Fire Ban or Restriction at any time, in which case any active burns must be immediately extinguished.
This Fire Advisory is in effect until further notice.
