Each year at the Calgary Stampede, farm families from across the province are presented with the BMO Bank of Montreal Farm Family Award.
Know a farm family that makes Lethbridge County a better place? Nominate them for the 2027 BMO Farm Family Award by Saturday, October 31.
Criteria:
- Who can be nominated: a farm family that works in primary agriculture, earns its main income from farming and lives on the farm. The farm must be in Lethbridge County. Agribusinesses are not eligible.
- What the Agricultural Service Board (ASB) looks for: a family that gives back to their community as well as to agriculture.
- How to nominate: fill out the online form at lethcounty.ca or call 403.328.5525.
- What happens next: the ASB reviews every nomination in late November and selects one family. That family will be recognized at the Calgary Stampede in July 2027.
