Lethbridge County launches new online Business Directory

LETHBRIDGE- Lethbridge County is pleased to announce the launch of our new online Business Directory.  It offers a one-stop-shop for customers who are looking for local products and services.  County-based businesses are listed with their location and contact information, as well as a description of the products they sell or services they offer.

A variety of businesses have already signed up from many different industries, including agriculture, personal services, and tourism.  Those that offer in-person, as well as B2B sales are included, showing the diversity of businesses that exist here.

“This is a great opportunity for our businesses to connect with potential customers,” says CAO Ann Mitchell.  “The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly impacted many businesses and we are hopeful that this directory is one action the County can take to help encourage shoppers to buy local whenever they can.”

“Lethbridge County has a remarkably diverse selections of businesses for a rural municipality, with agriculture and agri-food serving as a foundation,” says Economic Development Officer Martin Ebel.   “Every dollar that is spent in Lethbridge County and stays in Lethbridge County strengthens and grows the local economy.  We encourage residents and businesses to source and buy local whenever possible, especially during these challenging pandemic times.”
