Smart services, stronger connections

In 2025, we made it easier than ever for you to access County services. From MyCounty to FARMER forms, our tech upgrades brought services to your fingertips—securely, efficiently, and conveniently.

  • Launch of MyCounty online customer portal
  • Rollout of FARMER digital forms for Dust Control
  • Implementation of ConX self-managed truckfill system
  • Deployment of Questica budget software
  • IT upgrades: MFA deployment, AI-enhanced cybersecurity
  • Streamlined Development Permit process via eSITE

Safer every step

Whether fighting fires, preparing for emergencies, or training our teams, we’ve invested in safety at every level—so your County is ready when it matters most.

  • New fire agreements with 4 neighbouring municipalities
  • Regional Emergency Management Plan (REMP)
  • Safety audit + Safety BBQ with load securement training
  • 60% increase in ICS-trained staff
  • Harvest fire safety campaign with Ag Services
  • Major fire investigation collaboration with RCMP

On the ground: Roads, signs and operations

From the gravel roads you drive to the signs that guide you, 2025 was a year of practical upgrades. These projects reflect our commitment to quality, safety, and longevity.

  • 6,180 miles of road grading
  • Over 300 miles of gravelling
  • 169+ miles of spray patching
  • 507+ signs installed or replaced
  • High shoulder removal on haul routes
  • Asset management reactivation + preventative fleet maintenance
  • Collaboration with LNID on bridge/pipeline replacement

Growing together: Ag, planning and sustainability

Whether it’s helping producers adapt, securing water infrastructure, or planning for community growth—Lethbridge County continues to invest in the future of our region.

  • Hamlet Growth Studies in Monarch, Iron Springs & Turin
  • 95% of participating producers met through Environmental Farm Plan outreach
  • 330+ signed up for Nutrient Management Webinar series (tripled since 2022)
  • New Regional Water/Irrigation Study funded (ACP)
  • Rural Living newsletter upgraded to magazine format
  • Support for Shaughnessy wastewater lagoon upgrades
