Stirling Wind Project Community Benefit Fund

Lethbridge County and Stirling Wind Project are pleased to announce and launch the new Community Benefit Fund Grant.  The grant is available to groups such as local registered charities, not-for-profits societies, organizations and associations, and schools.  

Congratulations to the 2024 grant recipients:

  • Bee Hive Child Care – climbing wall/dome
  • Diamond City Citizens Association – new community hall
  • St. Catherine’s Home and School Board – playground
  • McNally Community Association – bathroom repairs
  • Holy Spirit Catholic School Division – sound system




Grants are awarded for projects, events or initiatives related to the promotion of: 

  • Environmental Enhancement 
  • Social Welfare 
  • Arts and Culture 
  • Health and Wellness 
  • Education & Science 
  • Emergency Relief 

Projects could include

  • Capital projects or equipment for the enhancement of community facilities
  • Community Events 
  • Art or Education Programs
