As there was no candidate for Division 5, the County has notified Municipal Affairs, who have ordered that a by-election take place before April 30, 2022.  Details will be released once an election date has been chosen by Council.

In addition to the municipal portion of the election, voters were also able to cast their votes for Senate candidates and two provincial referendum questions.  A total of 1,209 people cast their vote in the provincial ballot.

A total of 234 citizens voted in Division 3 and 298 in Division 4 for the municipal candidates.

Two voting stations were available on Election Day in the County: at the Diamond City Community Hall and Gem of the West Museum in Coaldale.  For voters’ convenience, there were also two Advance voting days on October 13 and 16 at the County’s Lethbridge administration office.  Information on the election was available throughout the nomination period and up to Election Day on the County’s website, social media, and app.  Official results are available to view at https://lethcounty.ca/p/election-2021
