Post Date:07/30/2018 1:49 PM
LETHBRIDGE– At approximately 1:22pm this afternoon, an American Registered, Aviat Husky Aircraft experienced a ground loop collision upon landing at the Lethbridge Airport. The two people on board were not injured, however the aircraft was damaged.  A ground loop occurs from a horizontal spin upon landing, which can be caused by a number of factors. The incident today caused the wing to touch the ground as the plane landed.

The Lethbridge Fire Department, Coaldale and District Emergency Services, and RCMP were dispatched to the scene. The Transportation Safety Board has been notified.
