The Boil Water Order that was placed on July 5th for Lethbridge North County Potable Water Coop water users has been rescinded. Alberta Health Services has tested samples of the water and determined it is safe for consumption.

PSA- Boil Water Order Rescinded for LNCPWC Water Users

**Please note that although the Alberta Emergency Alert has been cancelled, the Boil Water Order REMAINS IN EFFECT until further notice.**

 

The LNCPWC sent water samples to Calgary for testing over the weekend to determine if it is safe for consumption. The tests have not yet been completed and as such the Boil Water Order will remain in effect until further notice.

The Boil Water Order is for Lethbridge North County Potable Water Coop (LNCPWC) customers/water users located immediately east of Picture Butte (north of the Oldman River, east of HWY 25 and HWY 843, and west of HWY 845) are affected. Note that Lethbridge, Coaldale, Picture Butte, Nobleford, Monarch, Turin, Coalhurst, Diamond City and Shaughnessy are NOT under a boil water order.

PSA- Boil Water Order Remains in Effect for LNCPWC Water Users

**Please note that although the Alberta Emergency Alert has been cancelled, the Boil Water Order REMAINS IN EFFECT until further notice.**

The LNCPWC has sent water samples to Calgary for testing over the weekend to determine if it is safe for consumption. The Boil Water Order will remain in effect for the entire weekend. An update will be posted on Monday, July 16.
