Lethbridge County Businesses Invited to Participate in Business Retention and Expansion Survey

Post Date:07/03/2018 8:52 AM
LETHBRIDGE COUNTY – Lethbridge County will launch a new Business Retention & Expansion (BR + E) survey beginning today, July 4, 2018. The aim of the survey is for the County to better understand the future plans and needs of local businesses and how business owners/managers view the community as a place to do business. The information from the survey will be used to plan future economic development activities focused on the top priorities of local businesses.

Lethbridge County has retained MDB Insight, an economic development consulting firm to assist with the project. MDB Insight will be working with County administration to review the completed surveys for challenges and opportunities that the local business community faces. Businesses are encouraged to participate in the telephone survey if they are contacted. Selection is random, with MDB Insight beginning calls on July 4. The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.

A vibrant economic environment is a pillar under the County’s 2018 Strategic Plan, with the goal that businesses can grow and thrive in the County. This survey will provide valuable information on the business environment, challenges, and opportunities here.

For businesses that have questions or require additional information regarding the survey, please contact Martin Ebel, Economic Development Officer, Lethbridge County at (403) 317-6052 or mebel@lethcounty.ca.
