Lethbridge County Hosts Chinese Consul General
LETHBRIDGE COUNTY – Lethbridge County was pleased to host Chinese Consul General Mme. Lu yesterday (June 13) for a tour of Lethbridge County and to meet with Council and administration.
After arriving at the Lethbridge County administration office to meet Council and staff, Mme. Lu and Council met for lunch prior to the tour. The delegation then visited Latin Foods Inc., an artisanal, hand-made cheese producer in the County, and the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre north of Coaldale.
“It was a pleasure to host Consul General Mme. Lu today as the County works to further strengthen our relationship with China,” said Reeve Lorne Hickey. “This visit was an excellent opportunity for Mme. Lu to see the high quality of our products in the County, as well as the innovation that exists here.”
Maintaining a strong relationship with China is important to Council and administration as we continue to communicate that the County provides quality products and is open to new markets around the world.
Lethbridge County also wishes to thank Latin Foods Inc. and the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre for providing our honoured guest a tour of their facilities.
