PSA- Motorists Asked to Use Caution on County Roads Due to Melting

Post Date:04/11/2018
LETHBRIDGE COUNTY- Lethbridge County is asking motorists to drive with caution on County roads that have been softened by moisture or are covered by water. Due to the recent warmer temperatures, accumulated snow has melted and water has washed onto some roads. Some roads have also been softened. Please use caution while driving and reduce your speed to ensure your safety as well as others.

If you are aware of a road that has become extremely soft, is impassable, or has water washed over top of it and there no indication that County crews have been to the area yet (ie. no signs or barricades), please call the County as soon as possible.

Daytime: call (403) 732-5333
After-hours: call (403) 328-5525 and follow the voice prompts.

Please do not message the County on social media (Facebook/Twitter) for public works emergencies as these accounts are not monitored 24/7.
