McNally Bridge Reconstruction Complete

LETHBRIDGE COUNTY - The McNally Bridge, located just west of Highway 4 on Township Road 8-2 received final inspection yesterday and is now open for use. The bridge is an important crossing and was in urgent need of immediate replacement. This reconstruction project is part of a long-term plan to gradually upgrade the County’s Market Access Network.

“The bridge is a high traffic area, making its replacement a priority. We are pleased to report that this project was completed on time and within budget,” says Director of Municipal Services Rick Bacon.

Utilizing Lethbridge County’s Market Access Network fund, the County was able to move ahead with this important project that will allow goods and services to move throughout the region safely and efficiently. Providing a safe and reliable transportation system is a priority for Lethbridge County. The McNally Bridge has a renewed life expectancy of 50 years.

The County would like to thank citizens for their cooperation during the completion of this project.
